Important Announcement

Our government is asking for input on local governance reform.

Their green paper covers a number of serious problems with our system of local governance. Yet there is no mention of the voting system and its shortcomings.

They need to hear from us on this issue. You can take the survey, and ask for electoral reform in question 12. You can also write to them. Need ideas for what to say? Check out our form letter.

Send snail mail to 20 McGloin Street, 2nd Floor, Fredericton, New Brunswick, E3B 5H1, or email to VibrantNBDynamique@gnb.ca.

Call For Volunteers

Can you help? For greatest impact, we need people in different cities to run tables in public places such as markets. If this interests you, please get in touch.

Our Voting System Makes Our Province Look More Divided Than It Is

Look at the map of the 2020 election results. It gives the impression that everyone in the North voted Liberal, while everyone in the southwest voted PC. That’s not what happened at all!

For a system that reduces division, and gives us the government we actually voted for, please sign the petition.

The 2020 Election Didn’t Need to Happen

Our system makes leaders want to call elections whenever they’re doing well in the polls. Especially if they don’t have a majority of the seats in the legislature.

That’s why Premier Blaine’s Higgs called the 2020 election, which wasted millions of dollars of our money.

With Proportional Representation, governments can take their eyes off the opinion polls long enough to get on with the business of governing.
